I'm sure you're all aware that adult coloring books are a thing. I don't mean 'adult' in the sense of a fountain explosion featuring Sasha Grey, but in the sense of a more boring fountain, that's family friendly. Some of these books use the color-by-number formula for to help tired minds feel like coloring artists.

Pixel Art features an immense number of designs, and it is updated daily. From simple pixelated items and characters to photos and classic painting recreations, you can spend days filling pixels without worry of them running out.

There are several tools and features that you can use to ease your work. Even if you can zoom in sufficiently enough to paint with your big toe might be enough for some, tapping and holding will bring up the zoom crosshairs. This tool gives you more accuracy from a zoomed out perspective but also allows you to draw the color like you would with a pen. Spilling color on the wrong pixels can happen, but you have warning vibrations to help you correct it. Also, miscolored pixels are semi-transparent and keep displaying the original color number. So you don't need to worry about being too accurate, nor go on a pixel hunt after completing an extensive design.

There are also the Magic Wand tool and the Color Grenade tool. These can help you fill up pixels quickly, but are in limited supply. You can get extra tool charges if you watch some videos, but since you see plenty of ads while going through Pixel Art's screens, that can be an annoying hindrance. Still, I can't imagine who would enjoy filling up sections with a single tap and throwing color bombs in busy areas.

You can opt to remove some of the visual and vibration helpers if you want a higher challenge. You can even disable the crosshairs. However, since the designs don't blow up in Minesweeper style, you might as well relax and enjoy the experience.

After completing a design you get options to share it on various social platforms, and also to save it in your image gallery.

Get it. Pixel Art is a beautiful past time app. The daily updates guarantee that you'll never run out of designs, and even if you run out of patience, your work can wait until the flame comes back. Weighing only at about twenty megs, Pixel Art can accompany your device for as long as its battery can cope.
